Sometimes, to show a client what you’re truly capable of, you have to stop following the blueprints and start writing the code.

The Concept: The Enclave Wave Born in the heart of our workshop, “The Enclave Wave” was designed as a showcase of pure, unadulterated parametric craft. While most joinery is built to fit a corner, this piece was built to defy it. It’s a rhythmic exploration of light, shadow, and geometry that serves as a physical manifesto for what we do here at Enclave.

From Digital Script to Workshop Floor

Creating a ripple effect of this magnitude requires more than a steady hand; it requires a fusion of high-level mathematics and traditional timber knowledge.

  • The Ripple Effect: Every fin in this installation is unique. Using parametric software, we scripted a “drop” in the centre of the piece, causing a radial wave to propagate outwards across the timber slats.

  • The “EC” Core: At the heart of the turbulence sits our signature—a precision-carved focal point that demonstrates how we can integrate branding and logos directly into the structural DNA of a design.

  • Materiality in Motion: By using high-grade plywood, we highlight the beautiful “stripe” of the grain on the exposed edges. It transforms a standard industrial material into a luxury textured surface.

Why a Showcase Piece Matters

We created The Wave to answer one question: “How far can you take it?” For our architectural partners and interior design clients, this piece is proof of concept. It shows that whether we are designing a bespoke kitchen or a complex commercial installation, we have the computational tools and the workshop expertise to execute designs that other shops might deem “impossible.”

The Enclave Standard: The Wave isn’t just a sculpture; it’s a promise. It represents our drive to push timber to its absolute limit, ensuring that every project we touch—from a single cabinet to a full-scale parametric installation—is executed with world-class precision.
